Choral Voices Stream
Participants in this stream will work under the skilled direction of Philip Matthias and have the opportunity to sing with his award winning choir the Newcastle Chamber Choir whose repertoire ranges from Renaissance to music of this century and includes a number of Australian works. N.B Ability to sight-read music essential.

Philip Matthias (NSW) is Director of Church Music studies at the Newcastle Conservatorium. He is a composer, choral director, organist and adjudicator working regularly on an international basis.
The multi award winning Newcastle Chamber Choir, formed in 1995, consists of university students and members of the community who share a love for singing and enjoy performing challenging and varied repertoire. Voted ABC Adult Choir of the Year 2006
