R&B, Gospel & Jazz Stream

Three great musicians join forces, with mountains of talent, to present the festival’s R&B, Gospel and Jazz Stream, with each teacher delivering a different sound – let your self go because this is going to be a lot of fun!

Michael Spiby (NSW) is a soulful singer with a distinctive talent. He gained international recognition as former front man of the Badloves touring with the likes of Jimmy Barnes. Now recording as a solo artist Michael joins us as the R&B teacher.

Andrew Legg and Maria Lurighi

Andrew Legg (Tas), pianist, composer and educator is head of Contemporary Music at the Tasmanian Conservatorium. A man with tremendous talent he is Director of the nationally acclaimed Conservatorium Southern Gospel Choir. Gospel teacher.

Maria Lurighi (Tas) vocal coach and performing artist, has a versatile and great voice. She is loved by audiences across Australia for her rich vocal sound and charismatic stage presence. Jazz teacher.
